Hi Guys,

This should be a relatively short one on titling and posting etiquette.

We are still a relatively small forum. (over 100 signups now! a huge milestone imo) Since we still quite petite, I think we should all keep in mind how our threads and posts are and their place on the site.

Do's and Don'ts of thread making

DO

  • Write your thread in a way where others can contribute
  • Separate your thread OP to your contribution to thread, this is good for readability. This does mean you will double-post initially, however that is fine to begin with.

Don't

  • Post in a way that only really allows you to post content, we have the blog section for more self centred posts.
  • Post hyper specific questions that can be answered with just a yes or no

Same again for posts

Do's

  • Keep things somewhat open ended, you never know what input someone might have!
  • Be willing to explain/elaborate on a point so that it can be understood by other users/readers.

Don'ts

  • Post one word replies without any elaboration. we might joke about it being 'chad' but youre just being a waste of space.
  • Double post outside the thread example above. We have edits (at the moment, will change if abused), so if you forgot something, you can just add it via a reply. tapping reply whilst still writing another reply will add an @ and the post number, so you can reply to multiple posts in one post.
  • be needlessly antagonistic, always remember, text can come across as more angry/aggressive than you intend. Just keep it in mind.
